About Sisterfriends
Sisterfriends is a folk-pop band based out of Ojai, California, made up of sisters and friends, Caroline and Karina.
We are deep thinkers and feelers and love writing songs that make people think and feel deeply. We also love to create connective experiences and aim to put on shows that bring joy and camaraderie to all who participate.
We see our songs and the stories we tell as opportunities to move hearts, open minds, and cultivate a greater understanding, appreciation, and celebration of this wild human experience we call Life.

The origins
Our story is unique, as we are in fact biological sisters (same DNA) --- who've known each other our whole lives but did not grow up together. Hence our band name: Sisterfriends.
​
Whenever we spent time together as children it involved co-creating theatrical performances for ourselves and any willing family member or friend. And in essence, that is what we continue to do today.
​
When faced with the question of how to spend our time on this earth; writing songs and creating engaging musical experiences continues to be the effortless and obvious choice.
Our hope is to hold a musical container where it's safe to feel, to consider new perspectives, and to open up to receive all that the grand mystery of life has to offer us. ​
